The Badminton World Federation has charged 8 Olympian for not playing best efford to win a match.

The Badminton double saw 4 pairs of players facing discipline actions after trying to lose to their opponents.

Four pairs of players - 2 from South Korea, 1 from China and 1 from Indonesia had already qualified for the last eight and being accused for wanting to lose to manipulate draw to avoid meeting the same nations or stronger opponent on next game.

Fans jeered the women's double between China's Yu Yang and Wang Xiaoli against South Korea's Jung Kyung-eun and Kim Ha-na and also South Korea's Ha Jung-Eun and Kim Min-Jung against Indonesia' Meiliana Juahari and Greysia Polii.

Despite a warning by the referee and signalling of disqualification, but the match was resumed after Indonesian's protested.
