Tottenham Hot Spurs are ready to cash in Rafael van der Vaart as the striker requested to move back to Germany.

Reportedly the Netherland international has set his heart on return to Hamburg where he was still treated as the club legend, with his family already been looking for houses in Germany.

It's understood that Rafael will meet up with Spur's new manager Andre Villas-Boas to discuss his position in Tottenham revolution this week but the Daily Mail has suggested that Villas-Boas has already considered to cash in the striker for Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge.
