Arsenal ace Robin van Persie announced he will not extend his contract with Arsenal.
Reportedly the Dutch international has ran out of patient at Arsenal and ready to move on, despite Arsenal were ready to break the club wages limit to retain the captain at Emirates Stadium, but the striker wants trophies.
"I personally have had a great season, but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days. I've thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract." Van Persie wrote on his website.
Most of the bookies have closed book for this event except Betfair who still offer 1.20 for Robin van Persie to leave Arsenal after summer transfer window.
