Arsenal striker Robin van Persie was spotted at Manchester but it's unknown if the Dutch international was in town for United or City.

The claim came from the former England and Lancashire star Neil Fairbrother who saw the Arsenak striker lunching in Hale. He wrote on his Twitter account yesterday: “Just grabbing some lunch in Hale – RVP just walked in! long way from Emirates!!! #redorblue?”

On the other hand, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also rules out the chances of van Persie leaving for Juventus which likely to see the star staying in England.
